I am not sure which service my project falls under. What do I do?
Call and describe it, or send photos through the quote form. Most projects touch two or three categories anyway. A house teardown usually includes concrete, a pool removal usually includes decking and fencing, and a remodel strip-out often turns into a garage teardown once someone is already on site. We scope the whole thing as one job, which is almost always cheaper than booking the pieces separately.
Do you handle both residential and commercial work?
Yes. Residential teardowns, pools, and concrete are the bulk of what we do, and we also handle tenant improvement strip-outs, small commercial structures, and site clearing for builders and general contractors. Commercial jobs typically involve more coordination around occupancy, business hours, and shared utilities, so those quotes usually start with a site walk rather than photos.
Do you pull the permits on every job, or only some?
On every job that needs one. That means we determine what your specific city requires, submit the application, pay the fee, and schedule any required inspections. You are not filling out forms or standing in line. The one thing we cannot do is authorize utility account changes on your behalf, so you may get a call or a form to sign from the power, gas, or water provider.
Is there a minimum job size?
No hard minimum, but very small jobs are priced with a mobilization cost built in, because getting a truck, a machine, and a crew to your address costs the same whether we are removing 80 square feet of sidewalk or an entire driveway. If you have a small item, it is worth bundling it with anything else you have been putting off. One trip beats two.
How soon can you start?
Concrete, small structures, and interior strip-outs can often be scheduled within a week or two. Anything requiring a demolition permit, an asbestos inspection, and utility disconnects, which includes any house or garage teardown, realistically takes four to six weeks from signing, and most of that wait is other people's calendars rather than ours. We start the paperwork the day you sign so nothing sits idle.
Do you work with insurance claims and construction lenders?
Regularly. Fire, flood, and storm losses often include demolition and debris removal, and construction loans on teardown lots usually build demolition into the draw schedule. We provide itemized scopes and dated before and after photos suitable for either. We are demolition contractors rather than adjusters, so your carrier or lender determines what qualifies for coverage.
